Dortmund, March 17, 2022: Elmos Semiconductor SE (FSE: ELG) today released its financial statements and annual report for fiscal year 2021. The preliminary financial statements and mid-February guidance are confirmed in full.

Based on the very positive development of the past financial year, the Supervisory Board and the Management Board will propose to the General Meeting of May 11, 2022 a dividend up 25% compared to the previous year, i.e. 0. 65 euro per share (previous year: 0.52 euro per share).

“We handled the semiconductor allocation and pandemic challenges very well and were delighted with a triple record in sales, operating EBIT and design gains in fiscal year 2021. We want our shareholders to benefit from this very positive performance and therefore propose to the Annual General Meeting a dividend of 0.65 euros per share for the financial year 2021 – another record,” said Dr. Arne Schneider, CEO of Elmos Semiconductor SE: “In addition to operational successes, we have also achieved important strategic milestones over the past year. We have further improved our solid base for the future development of Elmos and are therefore well prepared for future growth,” continues Dr. Schneider.

For fiscal year 2022, Elmos continues to expect sales growth of at least 15% to over €370 million and an EBIT operating margin of 20% ± 2 percentage points of sales. The expected operating EBIT margin for 2022 does not include any effect of a possible closing of the sale of the Elmos wafer fab to Silex Microsystems AB. The expansion of testing capabilities will continue in the current year, with Elmos expecting capital expenditure of approximately 16% ± 2 percentage points of sales. Despite the high level of capital expenditure and development expenditure for future growth, the Company expects to generate positive operating adjusted free cash flow higher than the previous year (11.1 million euros ) during the 2022 financial year. The forecasts are based on an exchange rate of 1.15 EUR/USD.
