Calix solutions (CALX) reorganize CTC Telecom network operations



Calix, Inc. CALX has partnered with CTC Telecom to develop the latter’s network and customer experience with cutting-edge solutions. As part of the collaboration, the telecom company deployed GigaSpire BLAST u6 systems, Calix Support Cloud and a full portfolio of Revenue EDGE to capture valuable subscriber data and performance information, providing a Wi-Fi experience. CTC Telecom also capitalized on Calix Customer Success Services to reorganize installation and support processes for a streamlined network infrastructure. After its deployment, the telecommunications company saw a 37% reduction in assistance call volumes with a drop of more than 34% in the number of trucks. By capturing critical information, CTC Telecom has eradicated consumer gateway problems by replacing them with GigaSpire BLAST systems. This has kept its day-to-day general operating costs to a minimum.

At a time when the telecommunications industry faces record demand for broadband services, service providers are managing the deployment of advanced network platforms. In this context, Calix’s solutions have supported service providers over the years with the introduction of new services and models, thereby accelerating its business roadmap.

One of these services is the GigaSpire BLAST system. The GigaSpire BLAST u6, which is an integral part of Calix’s Revenue EDGE solution, is equipped with Wi-Fi 6 technology.
